1. Why create this site?
* We felt there was a possible demand for this type of site. "A one stop shop" for soldiers and spouses to go to in order to find answers or things they need. One day I was looking for a vehicle to purchase, I was tired of going to the lemon lot everyday or the local PX post it board to see if the inventory changed. So I (Rob) thought to myself wouldn't that be a great idea to have a place for soldiers to be able to browse and sell on one location.
2. Where did you come up with GoMotherRucker.com
* We were tossing around ideas trying to come up with a catchy common phrase that people would remember. Plus MotherRucker.com was already taken. I was toying around with the idea MotherRuckerOnline.com or TheOfficialMotherRucker.com and they all seemed too long.
3. Once a my ad sells do I have to pay another fee?
* No every ad is FREE! We are an advertisement web site and there aren't any closing fees.
4. Why is SPONSORING your website, the advertisement prices are so low... “How is that possible?”
* We're trying to provide a great service for a local and reasonable price. We definantly appreciate those who do decide to advertise on our website.
5. That dog photo on your Adopt-A-Pet page... Are those eyes real?
* Sorry to disappoint anyone but those eyes are truly Photoshopped. We even created a video tutorial on how this was achieved on Youtube.
6. Are the ads we put up searchable by search engines?
* Well the GoMotherRucker.com does have search engine crawlers. Every page on this site is available to the search engines. A quick way to check google is to type in "site:gomotherrucker.com" to see if your page is in the google system. One of the best things you can do is use descriptive text in your description box.
7. “I don't have any kind of relationship with the military (no friends, no family, etc)... Can I still sell on this website?”
* The only rule to sell on this site is to be local to the Fort Rucker surrounding area with in an 80 mile radius.
8. Is there a way we can contact you if we have any problems?
* Well the best way is to use our Contact Us form and fill that out. But if that doesn't work you can call 334-328-0706 during normal central time hours 7AM - 7PM and we would be happy to help you all out.
